The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is a heritage railway that runs between Durango and Silverton, Colorado.  

The railway is a 3 ft (914 mm) narrow-gauge line that was built in 1881 to transport silver and gold ore from the San Juan Mountains.  

The line is now a popular tourist attraction and is used for excursions and dinner trains.
