Places to See in Almora

Almora is a hill station located in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, India. 

It is situated at an altitude of 1638 m (5,377 ft) above sea level and is surrounded by thick forests of pine and fir trees. 

It is known for its spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges and the terraced fields of Kumaon. 

The town also has many ancient temples dedicated to various Hindu deities 

Almora has a rich cultural heritage and is home to many traditional activities such as handicrafts, handloom weaving, and the Kumaoni language.  

Almora is also known for its local cuisine, which includes the famous "bal mithai", a sweet made with milk, sugar, and dried fruits.
