Amaravati City in Andhra Pradesh

Located at the banks of River Krishna in Guntur District the city 

plays and important role in the cultural heritage and in the history of the state. 

Being a rich holy site, the city is in a central place of the state near Vijayawada and was founded in 2014 

when Hyderabad became the capital of Telangana. 

This is a beautiful statue of Gautama Buddha seated in a meditative posture which is 125 ft tall and is located in banks of River Krishna.
