kaziranga national park in assam

As mentioned before the park is also blessed with rivers and small ponds 

so you will get to also get to find the different species of turtles 

tortoises along with n number of varieties of species found here.  

Kaziranga was present here for years and in 1904 when Mary Curzon  

visited the area with her husband Lord Curzon of Kedleston she could not find even a single rhino. 

This made her think about the endangering specie and she spoke to her husband for protecting them. 

Lord Curzon then took the initiative to protect the amazing sanctuary  

the species found here and in 1905 Kaziranga became a reserve forest.  

Although the place has faced threatens from several calamities to date 

the government has never failed to maintain
