As a result of the unique landscape, the heavy cloud cover, and torrential rainfall in the Garo, Khasi, and Jaintia Hills, India has the highest waterfalls in the world. There are no higher waterfalls in Asia than Kunchikal Falls in India. Near the town of Agumbe in the Shimoga district of Karnataka lies the tallest waterfall in India. It measures 1,493 ft in height. There is only one rain forest research station in India located in Agumbe valley, a place in India that receives a lot of rain.

Nohsngithiang Falls, Meghalaya – 315m (1,033 ft)
The Nohsngithiang Falls at Meghalaya is one of the largest waterfalls in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya. A height of 1,033 feet is required to form the falls following the confluence of the diverged streams.
Kerala, India, PALARUVI FALLS
