Also famously known as Bai Harir stepwell, it was constructed during the Mehmud Begda era, and the entire place is built by the sandstone creating this beautiful architecture of Solanki style. The stepwell is total 7 levels and the intricate artistry is just breath-taking. The Persian inscription in the stepwell say that Mehmud Begda was the superintendent of the harem and the other Sanskrit inscription on the well display that it was constructed on 1499 AD.
The sacred place is located in the Kalupur region and is considered to be the 1st temple of Swaminarayan Sampraday and as per the belief the temple was constructed by following the instructions of Swaminarayan. The temple was constructed on 1822 and is dedicated to Narayan Dev. The intricate carvings on the walls of the temple attracts many tourists from around the world. The temple is the headquarter of the Nar Narayan Gadi and several idols of God and Goddess are present here which are worshipped by many millions of devotees who visit this temple every year.
Well as the name goes the car museum is famous among several vintage car lovers as it has the best classic car collection. More 120 cars, motor vehicles, ancient vehicles and carriages are found here. The museum was started by Shri Pranlal Bhogilal Patel who displayed his private collection in the beginning and later the other several vehicles were added to the collection. Royal cars of the 1900s are also present here.
The place is famous for its unique architectural style and a mystery which is to date unsolved by many historians. The place has many minarets and if any one of them is shaken then the other minaret will shake automatically without the passage in between transmitting any vibration. The unsolved mystery with these unrelated movements led to the name of the place known as Jhulta Minar. The place is 500 years old and is visited by many tourists.
