The Dwarkadhish temple
The famous Hindu shrine is dedicated for the Lord Krishna and is a famous pilgrimage site. The temple is a five storied building and was constructed in 15th to 16th century. The temple is located at an elevation 12.19 metres above the sea level and it is considered that Lord Krishna’s grandson Vajranabha initially constructed it. But later the entire place was destroyed by Mahmud Begada and later again the temple was built. The main temple is supposed to be built around 2000 years before as per the archaeological findings found here.
