The Rock Garden

The beautiful garden is like a massive exhibition of amazing sculptures. The Rock garden was made by Nek Chand and this 40-acre garden is filled with many colourful artworks and sculptures and you can have a nice walk in a nice sunny day in this garden. The Mosaic work pieces are a true delight to watch at for sure and many tourists have completely fallen in love with this place. There are around 5000 statues here today and the park was actually constructed in 1957. Everything is beautifully made with scratch and waste and the amazing transformation is just remarkable.

The Government Museum and Art Gallery

One of the most famous museum with so many historical things which is a must to know about. The museum is a huge collection of some very historical artefacts, paintings and sculptures. It was constructed back in 1947 and to date the rich collection gets visited by many tourists. Located in the middle of the city the museum is surrounded with great scenic views and Shivalik hills.

The Sukhna Lake

Located at the foot of the Shivalik ranges, the beautiful lake was created in 1958. The clear water here looks absolutely majestic during the sunset and sunrise times and also many joggers and people who love nature visit this place. There are several local stalls near the lake and also the lake is one of the longest rowing channels. Enjoy boating here and explore the place more. The Chattbir Zoo

The well-maintained zoo is also famously known as the Zoological park of Mahendra Choudhary. The Zoological Park spreads across 200 acres of land and has been highly visited as it allows open enclosure to several animals. You will find zebras and the Royal Bengal Tiger along with other species here. Also, many migratory birds are found here and this is indeed a great place to spend some amazing time with your friends and family.
