The splendid waterfalls are located very close to the region of Yellapur and is considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the state. The Magod Falls has crystal clear fresh waters falling from a height of 200 m. The water from the falls is obtained from the clear waters of river Bedti. The breath-taking views of the sanctuary is blessed with rich flora and fauna. The sanctuary covers an area of 834.16 sq. km and was established back in 1956. The sanctuary is also considered as the second largest sanctuary in Karnataka. It is located in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka.
