The massive magnificent palace was built by King Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma and has traditional touch to it with the ancient paintings and murals found here. There is also a museum present here and along with that tourist can enjoy the scenic views that the palace serves. The huge mural of Gajendra Moksha is found here which is around 53 square feet of area covered by it and the double-edged sword Kayamkulam Vaal is also placed here.
