The Gateway of India
One of the highly visited tourist spots on India is the gateway of India near the Arabian Sea. It was built in the year 1924 by architect George Wittet. The construction took place to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai and to date its beauty didn’t fade at all. You can take the ferry rides from here to visit the famous Elephanta Caves. The famous architecture of the gateway and the use of yellow basalt makes it look spectacular.
