Jaisalmer Fort
Constructed by the Bhati Rajput ruler Rao Jaisal, the Jaisalmer Fort is an enormous yellow sandstone fort that keeps up the Raj Mahal and a few Havelis, doors and sanctuaries. The brownish earthy coloured defence that transforms into honey gold at dusk, supporting the name "Sonar Quila", is without a doubt a bursting example of visual discernment. The architectural design of the fort, having intricately carved windows, entryways and walls, is one of the exemplary instances of the rich legacy in India. Situated on the Trikuta Hill and overlooking the Jaisalmer city, the Jaisalmer Fort is consequently one of the well-known vacation destinations in Jaisalmer.
