First up on our tour is South Padre Island, located right at the southeastern tip of Texas along the gorgeous Laguna Madre Bay.

When it comes to beach resorts in Texas, South Padre has something for every taste and budget.
For family vacations, check into Sapphire Beach or Pearl South Padre.
Both of these Texas resorts offer spacious condo rentals right on the sand, with amenities like multiple pools, hot tubs, kids’ clubs, and easy beach access.

If you’re looking for romance, I highly recommend the Island Beach Resort. This cozy condo property has a lush courtyard with sparkling pools, chef-prepared breakfasts, and breathtaking ocean views.
End your days watching the sunset from your private balcony before heading to the resort’s beachfront restaurant, Mastry’s.
With its intimate vibe and special touches, it’s a wonderful choice for honeymoons or couples’ getaways.
Just an hour’s drive from Houston, Galveston Island offers 32 miles of relaxing beachfront along the upper Texas coast.
Its convenient location, historic charm, and amusement park attractions like Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens make it a popular choice for Resorts in Texas vacations.
The San Luis Resort
When staying in Galveston, I suggest The San Luis Resort. This massive beachfront property has it all – multiple pools, hot tubs, spa services, restaurants, bars, and even a complimentary water park for hotel guests!
Families love the kids’ camp and game room. For mom and dad, there’s a lively pool scene with day and nightly live music at the H2O bar.

Emerald Beach Hotel
For beachfront accommodations, I suggest the Emerald Beach Hotel. This Corpus resort offers contemporary suites with full kitchens along with a beachfront pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and free continental breakfasts.
It’s located right on Corpus Christi Beach, so you can easily spend your days swimming, kayaking, or lounging by the water.
Alternatively, check into the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel, located downtown with sweeping views of Corpus Christi Bay.
Omni combines urban luxury with resort-style amenities like a rooftop pool, full-service spa, and upscale restaurants onsite.

Port Aransas Beach Resorts
Last but not least on our Texas beach resorts tour is Port Aransas, a laid-back fishing village located north of Padre Island on Corpus Christi Bay.
With its small-town charm, great fishing, and opportunity for beachcombing, Port Aransas is another jewel of the Texas coast.
