Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea
Undoubtedly one of the premier luxury family resorts in Hawaii, the Four Seasons Maui is a perennial favorite.
Set on the sunny southwest coast of the island, it boasts three miles of beautiful beachfront. While adults indulge in world-class spa treatments, kids can participate in the complimentary Kids For All Seasons program. They’ll love learning about humpback whales, star navigation from Hawaiian wayfinders, and local wildlife.
The resort provides handy baby amenities like strollers, bottle warmers, and swim diapers so you can travel light.
If you’re nursing, take advantage of the cushy pool cabanas for privacy. Good to know – Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on the Big Island is another exceptional option.
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa
You just can’t beat Disney magic, and Aulani on Oahu has it in spades. Thirty minutes from Honolulu, one of the best resorts in Hawaii feels worlds away thanks to Disney’s legendary service and whimsical touches.
Mickey and friends await in Hawaiian garb for character meet-and-greets and photos.
Little ones have their own restaurant menus, big kids can take surf lessons, and parents can actually relax poolside thanks to the award-winning Aunty’s Beach House kids club.
From toddler-friendly features to teen activities, they excel at entertaining all ages. Themed pools and water play areas are a huge hit too.

Sheraton Waikiki
Making family vacations easier is what the Sheraton Waikiki does best. Home to the longest infinity pool in the world with sweeping ocean views, it’s an Instagram lover’s paradise.
But I recommend it for the incredible on-site childcare – starting at just 3 months old!
Now parents can enjoy a peaceful dinner or spa treatment while the babies are happily looked after.
The kids club also entertains older children with games, local crafts, and outdoor adventures. Plus, the beachfront location and multiple dining options can’t be beat.
Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa
For nonstop aquatic action on Kauai’s sunny Poipu coast, the Grand Hyatt can’t be matched. Their multi-level pool complex features waterslides, a lava rock “river”, a saltwater lagoon, and more.
Add in a 150-foot water slide and a pristine stretch of beach, and kids are occupied for hours on end.
While mine are playing, I like relaxing with a beachfront mai tai massage at the Anara Spa. There’s golf at the Poipu Bay Golf Course, nightly keiki activities, and Hawaiian culture programs too.
Traveling with a baby? Request one of their complimentary cribs. With so much to enjoy, this resort easily makes the list of best family resorts in Hawaii.
Grand Wailea Maui
If you’re looking for Hawaii Resorts for families, then head to Grand Wailea Maui. Set on 40 gorgeous acres in Wailea, the Grand Wailea wows families with its elaborate pool system, kids club, and stunning beach locale.
The resort really rolls out the red carpet for families, starting with a private photography session to capture your vacation memories.
Kids can learn Hawaiian hula dance, play ukulele, join beachside treasure hunts, and more through their Camp Grande kids club. Teens have their own lounge and activities too.
While mine craft at Camp Grande, I like biking along the coastal path or treating myself to a massage at the spa. And the nightly luau is an absolute must with kids!
Montage Kapalua Bay
For families that love an oceanfront setting infused with Hawaiian culture, Montage Kapalua Bay on Maui’s northwest shore is ideal.
It has spacious residential-style suites with full kitchens so you can enjoy breakfast in your room.
Kids can join cultural activities like lei-making and hula lessons, earn merit badges through the Paintbox Kids Club, and explore tide pools along the bay.
There’s an incredible kids swimming pool, family-friendly dining, and recreational amenities like paddleboarding and snorkeling too.
Watching the sunset from your private lanai is pretty spectacular as well. It has a serene, residential vibe that families love.
The Lodge at Kukui’ula
The Lodge at Kukui’ula on Kauai offers spacious multi-bedroom villas, many with private pools. Having up to four bedrooms means there’s plenty of room to bring extended family or give teens their own space. The resort feels like a community with activities from bocce ball to gardening classes at their on-site farm.
Kids can swim at multiple pools and enjoy complimentary activities like lei-making and scavenger hunts during camp.
There are also great hiking and biking trails right on the property to explore as a family. You have all the amenities of a luxury resort plus room to spread out.
