When we think of planning winters in India, all sorts of stereotypical places such as Manali, Himachal and Uttarakhand come to mind. But India is a treasure for tourists; if you are planning winter vacations, there are many options for you to spend your time away from hectic schedules.

Ice climbing

You need to undergo training before you try ice climbing as it’s not similar to rock climbing, the slippery surface makes it hard to climb, and with freezing winters, it’s even more difficult. You need to be equipped and skilled with special gears for ice climbing, including crampons, waterproof cloths, boots, wrist loops, ice axe, ice screw etc. Ice climbing is a new attraction for tourists at Lahaul Spiti and Manali in India. Trekking
