Bijli Mahadev Temple

Nearby the Beas river the pure religious holy temple of Bijli Mahadev resides is in the sacred land of Bhuntar. The temple is constructed in a path which you would have to trek to reach the sacred temple. The temple is dedicated to Mahadev also known as Lord Shiva, and the Shiva Linga present here has its own unique story. It is believed that the Shiva Linga was broken into many pieces by lighting but later the Linga was brought together by the temple’s priest who used butter to join the pieces. If you are adventurous and religious then do visit the temple here and enjoy the amazing pleasant weather of the holy place.

The Jagannath Temple

The breath-taking structure of the temple is surely something that attracts many tourists. It is constructed at a height of 5,000 ft. above sea level and the lush greenery surrounding the temple is indeed something that will make you feel relaxed. The temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath and has a massive religious value among the worshippers. The Basheshwar temple

This temple in Bhuntar is one of the most visited tourists spot in the region and it is believed that the sacred temple was built by Pandavas. The inscriptions of the temple with some unique stone carvings found here just takes us back to the rich history of the region. The temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and some of the most beautiful statues and sculptures are found here. In the Kullu valley, the temple is the biggest one which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is visited by n number of worshippers. The temple is located very close to the airport and thus can be visited easily.

The great Himalayan National Park

Your trip is going to be incomplete if you did not visit this beautiful national park which is surely great with filled with greenery. The park is also known as Jawaharlal Nehru Great Indian National Park and this massive area shelters some of the rarely found animals and other species. A huge part of Bhutnar is a part of this national park and the species found here include different bears, deer, langurs and others. It is not preferable to visit the region during winters and in rainy seasons as it might get very slippery.
