The strawberry valley

Gulmarg Gondola
The huge cable car found here is very much famous around the globe as it is the second longest and highest cable car found. Gulmarg is blessed with abundant nature’s beauty and the region is filled with Apharwat Mountain which gets organised with many winter sports. The region also is famous for the ferry ride and around 600 people travel here at once. With the glorious view of Nanda Devi and Himalayan ranges, you can also enjoy the horse riding. In the winters when it especially gets covered with snow, its indeed majestic to visit the place and have a ferry ride here. The region is divided in to two phases where phase 1 has ferry rides from Gulmarg Resort to Kongdoori Station and the phase 2 has ferry rides Kongdoori Mountain to Apharwat Peak.
The Alpather Lake
The beautiful lake is set between the massive ranges of the twin peaks of Apharwat. The lake is mostly frozen and is also named as the Frozen Lake because of the low temperature of the region. If you love trekking then this is the right stop to make as the region is filled with mountainous region and has different routes to reach this awesome destination spot.
The Gulmarg Golf Course
The golf course is again a must to visit spot in the majestic place of Gulmarg. The region is the highest 18-hole golf course in the entire globe and is the longest golf course in the entire country. Located at an altitude of 8700 feet above sea level the golf course was constructed by the Britishers and was used only by then since 1911. Now the place gets highly flooded with many golf lovers out there and the region is covered with spectacular landscape too.
