UDAIPUR CITY PALACE

JAGDISH TEMPLE
The Jagdish temple is an Indo- Aryan temple that owes its creation to the Maharana Jagat Singh. This temple lies near the City Palace’s Badi pol entry. If you visit this palace then you have to go up a few steps. The black stone deity of Lord Vishnu will surely surprise you and the brass Garuda image facing it too. There are many other shrines in the temple that are dedicated to the Sun God, Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti. The sunset aarti is a wonderful experience for all the visitors here.
SAHELIYON KI BARI
Saheliyon ki Bari which is also known as Garden of the Maidens was built by Maharana Sangram Singh in the early 18th century. This beautiful creation caters to the maids who would go with the Princess of Udaipur to her husband’s hearth. This place has a lot of sights to view such as the beautiful marble elephants, fountains, a lotus pool etc. that depicts the richness of the time.
