Kalugumalai

Our Lady of snows Basilica

Kattabomman Memorial Fort
The government of Tamilnadu built the fort to honour the great freedom fighter Veerapandiya Kattabomma Karuthayya Naykkar allies, Kattabomman. But unfortunately, the British offered the death penalty after capturing him and his reign. The memorial is in the palace where the British government hanged him to death.
