The Garden is a perfect picnic spot in a nice sunny day and is also called as the Barbotey Rock Garden. Located in this beautiful hill station, the rock garden is filled with rocky hills and looks spectacular with the clouds cover the peaks. It is also known as the Yiga Choeling and is the oldest Monastery found in the region. The Tibetan Buddhist Monastery was constructed back in 1850 by Lama Sherab Gyatso. There is huge 15-foot-high sculpture of Maitreyi Buddha present here and it was built by Lama Domo Geshe Rinpoche, the second head of the monastery. Many things related to Buddhism including some manuscripts are found here and paintings related to Tibetan Buddhism are also found on the walls of the monastery. There is also a Hindu shrine present near the monastery which is located at the hill top. It is dedicated to the powerful goddess Kali.
