Caribbean Travel Guide

The Caribbean Sea, which is home to more than 700 islands, islets, reefs, and cays, is located

between North America and South America, with Central America to the west and the boundless expanse of the Atlantic Ocean to the east.

The Caribbean Sea is surrounded on all sides by water.

Although the majority of its tropical islands are low-lying, some of them are volcanic in origin

their interiors are covered with rocky mountain ranges, lush jungles, and waterfalls

their offshore areas are home to colourful reefs.

In spite of the fact that certain areas of the region are known for their brilliant white dunes and warm

inviting waters, vacationers would be well to steer clear of these areas during the warm hurricane season

which begins in June and continues through November.
