Khordha Travel Guide

Khordha is the administrative division of the state of Odisha in India. 

This district was formed on April 1, 1993, by division of earlier Puri District into Khordha, Puri, & Nayagarh districts. 

In the year 2000, the name of the district was altered to Khurda. 

The capital city of Bhubaneswar is situated in the district Khordha. 

This district is the most urbanized of all districts of Odisha.  

Khurda Road, the railway station which serves the town is also the divisional headquarters of the East Coast Railway of Indian Railways.
