1. Kodaikanal
Kodaikanal is a mountain town in Tamil Nadu, southern Indian state. It is located in a region of cliffs of granite and wooded valleys, lakes, cascades, grassy slopes. His name means “The Gift of the Forest” in the Tamil language. Kodaikanal has a long history of being a retreat and a famous tourist attraction, known as the “Princess of Hill Stations’ ‘ The city centred on man-made Kodaikanal Lake in star shape, flanked by evergreen forest, at 2000 metres above sea level. Kodaikanal is one of Tamil Nadu’s best mountain stations, and one of India’s perfect mountain retreats. In a hill of the Palani of the western ghats, in the Monsoons with beautiful waterfalls and clouds that float around the region. Kodaikanal is the true beauty of the region. Rubikers and cyclists may charter boats on the five kilometres lake road along the coast.
How to arrive: a train to Kodaikanal is possible. Kodai Road, 80 kilometres from the location, is the closest train station. You may get a taxi to Kodaikanal from Kodai Road.
2. Darjeeling
In West Bengal, India, Darjeeling is a city at the foothills of the Himalayas. The narrow-gage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway or “Toy Train ” completed in 1881 formerly a summer retreat among the United Kingdom’s Raj elite. The unique black tea is famous for being cultivated on plantations that cross the hills of the area. The Mt. Kanchenjunga is its background, one of the highest peaks in the world.
This is one of India’s most renowned mountain resorts noted for its tea sector. Darjeeling is a top location in India that can easily be reached by 10,000 roupies with a stunning perspective of the Eastern Himalayan zoo-geographic area. The Sedalia National Park, Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Joe’s Pub, and so on are some popular places in Darjeeling.
3. Sikkim
Sikkim is a bordering state of Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal in northeastern India. Part of the Himalayas is the spectacular scenery of 8,586m Kanchenjunga which comprises India’s tallest peak. Glaciers, mountain meadows and thousands of different species of wildflowers are also at home in Sikkim. Steep tracks lead to high monasteries of Buddhism such as the Pemayangtse, dated back to the beginning of the 1700s.

4. Rajasthan

The Lakkam Waterfalls, the hiking paths and 2.695 metres Anamudi Peak are housed in the Eravikulam National Park, the habitat of the endangered Nilgiri Tahra mountain goat.
Munnar is a renowned mountain station in Kerala located in western Ghats at a height of 1600 metres. Munnar is well known as the ‘Southern Indian Cashmir’ for its tea farms, its varied green colours and blankets of natural views.
Munnar is a popular honeymoon location with plenty of resorts and holiday homes. It is situated by Madupetti, Nallathanni and Periavaru, three riverside.
The area of Old Munnar where the tourist information centre is located is split into Old Munnar, and Munnar with bus stations and most guest rooms. Its main attractions include the National park of Eravikulam, the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and tea plantations.
